Yeah, I'm probably gonna replace it. There's a sticky on here on how to do it yourself. I'm debating whether I want to try it or have a shop do it

At first, I was thinking of getting a ranger, thank god I didn't. Could've got a first gen tacoma though

Yeah they suck but are so popular around here. Did you want a 2nd gen or 1st? And if you don't mind what did you pay for it and how many miles?

FIRST GEN FTMFW! lol. Honestly if given the chance at a second gen, I'd sell it and get a BA first gen. Not a fan of how people are "feminizing" trucks to put it lightly

Yeah, trucks are getting overly fancy these days. I got my 2005 for 11,000 at 99,000 miles. My mom told me to get the newest truck possible for reliability, but a 2004 TRD double cab short bed would've been nice

That's a good price most 1st gems like that go for more it seems. Im personally not a fan of double cab trucks or short beds. I like being able to haul more with the long bed

You stole that truck! That's an insane price for a 2nd gen 4x4

Yeah, I don't like double cabs much either, but there's been many times it would've been useful. And that's good to know! Its not in pristine condition paint wise, but it was probably still a good deal for what it is

I like the double cabs, hate the loss of bed space. From what I've seen on these threads, it's hard to find a second gen 4x4 under 15k. Heck, some later first gens are going for 15k or more haha. I think you stole it haha

Yeah, I was debating selling it for what I got it for or a little more and getting a early tundra or tacoma, but I'll just stick with this one, easier to keep than sell

I wouldn't sell it now. I'd probably keep it through college at least especially with 100000 miles thats nothing
