I don't mind getting Pedro. I think he'll only end up being a small upgrade over Moyer talent-wise, but the offense will react to his name and reputation a little differently and provide him with better run support. May also teach some of our younger guys (Happ & Hamels) a thing or two that Moyer can't. That being said, Moyer is still a great influence on the young guys and still not a bad #4/5 starter should we need one.

I like Moyer. I think they should have just stuck with him as a starter. I feel like Pedro is more of a side-show than anything. I just don't see him being able to do much more than he did the other night.

I agree about Manny being a moron but he's still a solid player. Why do you think the Dodgers are overrated?

I hate the Dodgers with a passion, but I think they have a good shot at the Series this year.

I think the Dodgers will win it over the Yankees in 6 games.

PHILLIES GOT A GOOD PITCHING STAFF. They will be very hard to beat in a 5 game series. Wait until they start hitting too.

True. I find myself caring less-and-less all the time. I feel like most of the best players in the game use(d) P.E.D.'s and most of the guys on the 2003 list are still unknown.

I'm a huge Dodger fan but they've really been under-achieving lately. It's pissing me off!

    supercharger, ARE series 2 lid.
Since O'Malley took his Brooklyn Dodgers away from us, I became a Red Socks fan, therefore voted for the Red Socks, partially because I lived up in Boston for as many years as I had lived in Brooklyn. They show the same spirit that we had for Baseball.

Do you remember the Dodgers in Brooklyn? That must have really sucked when they moved. They win the series in '55 and then move a couple of years later over a stadium dispute (If I remember correctly).

Who IS going to win the series is just too much to predict...but I want THE YANKEES.

Really, for the first time in a few years, they look like the Yankees of the late 90's where there weren't any real superstars, just a bunch of dedicated, hard workers.

Take a look at Derek Jeter this year. No team has ever won a series with a 35 year old ss, but Jeter's showing the kind of grit that can carry a team (again).

And if you haven't been watching Mark Teixeira, you've been missing some of the best baseball by a first baseman in a long, long time.

I'm not really fussed if the Yankees win it all, the best played baseball often happens long before the post season. The 4 games the Yankees hosted against Boston in NY were amazing games for both sides...even better that the Yankees won!

Good luck to all and let the best team take it all...GO YANKEES.
