My boner just got a boner

 

Just booked my spot in MOAB from 26 May - 1 June Ill be staying at KOA anyone else staying there?

 

dude my boner's boner even got a boner. and that takes a lot of work!!!!

 

Hell… My dog just saw the picture and now he has a boner and is trying to violate the vacuum.

 

fyi about the koa. they are very strict on their rules of no vehicle repairs in the campground. we stayed there last year. it's nice with the shower on site. but they do NOT allow any repairs in the campground.

Is there any hidden fees I should know about about before deciding if I am for sure going? All I am accounting for is food and gas as trip fees which will be relatively cheap.

 

there is a 5 dollar fee to get into one of the parks where a trail is (hells)

everyone is encouraged to donate 20 for a raffle ticket that benefits local wheeling clubs, and of course in case shit breaks. thats literally it.

i would ditch the rtt and rack at camp though. this is a rock crawling trip, not an expo. dont want that top heavy weight haha

 

That's not bad. Probably would be $170 at the most in gas (excluding gas used on the trail), $50 (probably less) in food and whatever I buy in booze. It's doable.

 

Gage you will be totally fine leaving the tent on.

Elephant hill is like 10 bucks too to get I to canyon lands park.

 

Haha ya, it would be to much work to take it off anyways. I do need to take it off soon and check the railing however.

Don't count on me yet.

 

i dont know how hard a trails he wants to do, but i would take it off just to be safe

Lol I would just wing it as far as trails go. I am not to worried about the tent. I would just take a bypass if need be.

I doubt i will spend much more than $170 round trip. Assuming gas prices are around $3.50 a gallon. This isn't accounting for the gas spent while there, just to and from. I got 16 mpg out of my last tank and that was with our short wheeling trip and strong head winds on the way back up to laradise. The re-gear should bump me back to 18 mpg easily and with the decrease in elevation Ill be able to coast easily.

 

hmm. im prett sure i spend more than that and i thought you were further away

gas while there isnt even that much lol! You might only get 8mpg in 4lo but the longest trails are like 14 miles...so you might use 2 gallons a day haha. plus the occasional run to town.
