    Thank you!

I'm glad I had the IFS skid for Rausch, I bumped it a few times.

I have the ATO trans and t-case skid that will be going on in the next few weeks. I'll be knocking out the y pipe relocation first and installing a set of headers while I'm there and have the y pipe off.

the day before Rausch I installed a Uniden Pro520XL CB radio in the center console. I followed Benson's thread & picked his brain on a few things (thanks Benson)

The install was pretty straight forward. Had to use a hole saw for the coax cable and dremel a little bit for pos/neg wires.

I used the provided radio brackets to mount the radio to the center console with some self tappers. Had to bend the brackets a bit to get them just right.

can see where I had to drill with the hole saw to get the PL-259 right angle connector into the radio.

Trimmed the piece of carpet that sits in the bottom of the console

I'm happy with the finished assembly. For now I can connect the mic and shut the lid but I may change that up. I wasn't 100% sold on drilling a hole through the outside of the console like Benson did.

I decided on the Relentless driver side CB hood hinge mount. Bolted right on, fits great & is a nice spot for the 3' Firestik. I used a Firestik antenna mount with a heavy duty stainless steel spring.

    Looking good in here!!

I, too, followed Benson's thread on the CB install. However, I used a 4 pin right angle connector and a home-made 5 foot 4 pin extension cable and mounted my connector next to the A-TRAC button. If I ever want to get rid of it, just swap out a blank over a center console (not that I ever will sell my Taco but it is easily fixable :D)

    Here is mine:

The AC compressor took a shit on my way to Rausch back in April. Luckily it didn't lock up on me, the bearing was just making a horrific noise so no AC or defrost for the trip.

I just bit the bullet and ordered $400 worth of compressor, receiver/drier & expansion valve. I've never done a compressor on a Tacoma so I'll be sure to do a small write up with pictures and a list of tools needed to get the job done when I swap everything.
