I'm glad to see you passed Recon. My wheels stick out about like yours, so that gives me a warm n fuzzy that you passed. Did the Recon guy even glance at them or was it a fast walk around?

No I didn't. But the 4wd does sick power wheelies in the grass at speed.

Baseball diamonds, run the bases, high speed drifting. Lol

 

Seemed like he didn't pay much attention to anything actually. It was very fast. I guess they see way more lifted/modded trucks than our tacos.

That's good to hear! I had a sense of paranoia just thinking that the Recon guys would be jerks and say, " You're gonna have to address the tires sticking out past the fender before I can pass ya"...lol I'm feeling more at ease now...lol

 

Nate...the bracket shot of all the trucks (70mb) is awesome as a wallpaper on my iMac. Your camera (Or should I say, you) takes some really good high res shots! I miss having a good SLR. Would like to get another one in the near future, but more truck mods have taken over my life at the moment... I'm wondering if it will taper off??...hehe

Welp just finished up breaks and new wheel bearing truck is good to go now woot and some how managed to cut my forehead open while doing the breaks

 

luckily the caliper was not shot so did not have to go through that fun

 

I'd have to see that in person. I think my wheels are about the same. But, that's too close for comfort to schedule an appointment and have to wait for 2 months only to show up and get denied and have to reschedule! Especially if you get the one guy who ran out of coffee before you get there.

 

its not bad only difference is disconnecting a brake line per caliper

 

gonna have to be a necessity, or might make my own. i running it down a big maintenance tand and i logded the truck into a handrail.... bottom line scratched the LCA all to hell. had to yank on it to dislodge it. this slash is worth EVERY penny

The trail is graded by a bulldozer, so the tracks leave ripples in the dirt, especially when its freshly graded!
I couldn't figure out what the noise was at first, I kept pulling over because I thought my wheel was gonna fall off or something...
