Check your lower control arm bushings and have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while you're looking at the bushing. Also, your leaf springs might need grease on the plastic pads that are in between each leaf. Get a flathead screwdriver, pry it open a little and spread some grease on the pads. Possibly your leaf springs bushing too.

As mentioned, those are brand new. I bought the truck with the end links shot so they were the first to be addressed. The noise they made is now gone, but the rest remained.

Agreed on the WD. I said "or similar" because I never use the stuff on metal. I like Fluid Film, Amsoil's metal protector, silicone spray, etc, etc. depending on what I'm trying to achieve. I have a can of WD40 and I use it for removing sticker residue or any sort of adhesive goos. Sometimes I'll wipe down my chrome tools with it after some especially dirty jobs. That's about it.

Not yet, I don't get into the shop until Saturday so that's when I will try the experiments.

According to the noise, one is too many, however two or none is perfect. :D

Not a bad idea. I'll grease up the springs altho I'd bet everything on it coming from the front/middle. Sound travels all over these trucks tho, and the reg cabs are so small the noise is very deceiving.

Meanwhile, the dash buzz is in the middle of all this but first things first. If I press on the center vent faceplate it stops. Have to look into that after all this is cleared up.

This truck with put me in an asylum.

Thanks all! Great advice! I will give all your ideas a shot and see what comes up.

Good to see other people know about WD-40. I work I'm a hardware store and I can't tell you how many people think it's the only product that can be used. I swear some of them would run it as engine oil if they had a chance

that honestly sounds internal to be that loud and clear.

I know this sounds stupid but where is your bottle jack located? Is it strapped down or is there anything behind the seat that's loose?

I've heard some rattle from drive-line before with manual so I usually ignore it :)

can't remember if you said so but check your rack bushings. my driver side main bushing (the 10 inch long bolt) is shot and when I got over bumps I can definitely tell

    Frizz:

I stripped the interior of everything as the first course of action. No jack, tools, nothing in the cab. I was hoping that would do it but no. So not stupid at all, it's the first thing I thought of too. :D

My rack does have some give. But it's very minor, likely the usual compliance offered by the factory soft bushings. I don't see any places where there's actual metal contact. I will look closer at this again however.

Altho the fact it takes weight in the cabin to do it doesn't really point at the rack but I'l be damned if anything surprises me at this point.

    Thanks!

What type of coilovers do you have in the front? Also, place a jack under your lower control arm and lift the wheel to see if you can hear any noises.

Stand outside of your truck and push up and down on the bumper to see if you hear the noise. Again, check the lower control arm bushings. Once they wear out they will squeak because the bolt has a lot of play inside. There are front and rear bushings on each control arm. You may also want to check your upper ball joint too. Brake dust cover?

Rocking the car at a stop makes zero noise. Tried that first day and only the busted end links made noise this way. Now that I changed em, nothing.

Will take a harder look at the bushings while someone else rocks the car up and down and side to side.

    Thanks!

4WD: I'm looking to convert the file, hang tight.

The timestamps don't work, it got sped up a bit for some reason. But the noises are in order just the same.

Ignore the weights at :18 and :31. Everything else is all truck.

Jeeezus, that doesn't sound good, if your sure its not coming from interior you have a serious front end issue (yeah no shit) Whatever you've checked better check again, sounds like you've got some cracks in LCA's maybe right at the cams, the creaking i think i;m hearing is ball joint related possibly, but the sharp metalic pop is what i'd worry about, so how does it steer ? any lane drifting wobbles , pulling to L or R ??

you said you have spacers on front ? & if those nuts were loose for awhile the strut tower might be damaged around where those studs go thru, metal is pretty thin there..

You got it, old man. ;)

The truck drives great. No wobbles, tight steering, no pulling. I am thinking it's not front end related as far as anything that would affect steering and tracking.

I will crawl under there and take some better looks, and perhaps some pics to share.

I will also do another session of my wife driving and me under with a skateboard feeling for the pops.

    Ok maybe no skateboard. :D

This is why boats are so much easier to work on lol. Everything can usually be simulated without hanging underneath haha
