    Drove home in a snow squall last night, got maybe an inch or so on the ground this morning. Tomorrow is my last day of work, I have decided to take some time off, maybe I might be retired, but I'm not sure yet. We have decided to list the house for sale and are looking in to the possibility of building something and putting some cash in the savings account. Kind of nervous, but it had to be done. I'm going to go to Boston Monday for the Sox game and the marathon, should be a nice way to spend my first non working day!

    I like the term "resigning", and yes, I'm done with that company. I gave them a full year and a half, and it's just plain not a good match for either of us. We will be OK financially, I'm collecting a pension from Dow, but we will have to make some changes. First one is our house, really don't need 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for two people. I was ready to sell it a year ago, we even listed it, but Jodi wasn't ready then and we took it off the market. She has finally accepted that it makes no sense to pay the heating bill and taxes on space we don't use. Realtor is coming over today at one, so we'll see how that goes. Looking to sell fairly quick, but not give the place away. I've got my eye on a 3 acre piece of land in town, and have talked to a local builder about putting up a basic 2 bedroom home with very few frills, just enough so it's not a "cookie cutter". I'm not ruling out going back to work at some point, but I'm taking at least the whole summer off for sure. I got to say, I'm kind of a mixture of nervous and excited at the same time.
