Per Monte's recommendation, the Uniden 520XL is what I will be going with.

It is oem. Aisin is one of the largest manufacturers of factory Toyota parts. Your getting oem parts before they even go to Toyota. If you look on the water pump you can see where Toyota is ground off the Aisin pump since it's not being sold through Toyota.

I'd imagine vinyl would get very slick with snow/water on it.

It sounds like the vinyl kits dont fit all that well on the transmission hump?

I'd rather have wet vinyl than wet carpet... Plus I've got weathertech's anyways.

Vinyl would be much easier to clean as well.

Here's the one YamahaDave (I think that's who) installed in his truck. He said it fit like a glove.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-2004-T...el:Tacoma&hash=item1e66227883&vxp=mtr&afsrc=1

Obviously you can choose different colors.

I had different color samples of cutpile sent to me. High quality stuff... even comes with a thin layer of sound deadener on the backside.

Which color samples did you get?

I'll have to go look and see what their terms are exactly but I believe it's charcoal and dark gray.

Was leaning towards charcoal. Beautiful color. Near, but not, black.

I think if I do it I'm going to stick with tan to match the interior. Plus tan hides dirt well anyways.

How well does it match our blue/grey interior?

Upon further review.. the carpet samples I received are from Auto Custom Carpets, Inc

    www.accmats.com

I received the charcoal cutpile (item 897) and graphite cutpile (7701) samples.

Both with the sound deadener material on the back.

They also have vinyl flooring too.

My entire interior, lest the upper fawking dash panel, is black.

My seats are black with charcoal-ish accents.

It would match my interior beautifully.
