Thanks. I don't see very high promotion rates this year though. They are getting rid of a lot of MSgt's in my career field. Plus, they only promoted 3% to Senior.

Yep, that's what I'm reading and hearing, numbers are gonna be down. We're in that part of the cycle, but this one might be the worst I've seen in 30 yrs.

    Worries me some. :(

:smack: that's not nice mr!!!

:burnrubber: road trip to the border?

Sounds like a plan. You take the week off to study?

 seems silly they hired him as soon as they did, with no plane to test

    Good luck.

I should be ok for making it next year. It's what I am aiming for anyway. I have made every one so far on the 2nd try. So, next year will be me doing nothing but studying.

We are losing way too many people. In 2a6x6 alone, they were getting rid of 107 MSgts, 47 TSgts and 40 SSgts. Not the best of years to be us. I am on the list to go up to the board, but I have nothing derogatory in my files, and I am in a one deep position that cannot be replaced.

    no worries

Been ok. Not up to much. Just trying to keep the girls out of trouble... you should see Zoie over here with those big brown eyes of hers.

You gonna rescue another pup or just keep the one? How's the "new" job? don't see you on much anymore

Thanks Susan, and no. I had yesterday and part of today. Went in to see the doc about my lower back. I guess I strained it getting into shape for this damn PT test. Doing 2-3 miles 4 times a week and situps I guess aren't good for me?

And yeah, first one slipped. Going to make it really hard to write a report on it in October with minimal flight testing. I see it slipping again. And again. And again. We are expecting a 1 year slip to the whole program.

And I am learning a lot about the aircraft Susan. I have to know what I am watching before I can write a report on it :D

MSgt = E7. It's a tossup who gets it done. Chiefs strut. SMSgts do the Chief's work. MSgt's Direct the TSgts. TSgt's have to do the MSgt's job and the SSgt's when there are none around. Typically, I was doing the most work at McConnell.

I had no gym for a while. And its hard to run in the constant rain. But, I was in shape. Just my back decided I was in too good of shape and changed it. Shoulder is acting up too.

i hope your back heals and it doesn't affect your PT test.

I was just reading about it in AF Times last week; and the almost 2 billion dollars over budget Boeing has to eat.

Ummm ... yes :anonymous: IMHO

Work is killing me. Way more hours than I originally thought. I have a meeting wth the owner about it tomorrow.

Just one for now, we toy with the idea of a friend for Bruce, but one pup is sooo much easier than two. e is asleep on the ottoman between my feet right now. Such a good boy.

Hope you can get your hours cut down some.

But what if Bruce wants a buddy? Poor lonely little boy :pout:

Katy has a cat that keeps Bruce company, but he is going to college with her. I'm sure we will end up with another one soon.

Booked a mini (pun alert) vacation today. Taking a MINI Cooper S driving course at Indy in November!
