    not sure what blueprint means.....
I got the revolt to play around with tuning and to have a fun calm water boat. though I have yet to run it in anything as calm as that video. maybe it'll be calmer this weekend. I knew going into it that it was more of a turning boat than top speed hull.

and I think that my little mini mono with the brushless is probably a better match for the reef racer than the airboat. though I did just order a brushless for the airboat :D tested it out today with the push bar/pontoons too. pictures shortly

one of the shops near me the truggy version. I drool on the box a little every time I go in.

test run with the push bar went pretty well. bottom of the bar is at the perfect height, just kissing the water sitting still. should be low enough to push the boat without ramping up over it, but high enough to not get tangled in any weeds or debris. only issue I saw is that the bow tends to dip pretty good when you slow down and the wake catches up and raises the stern. going to see how it handles with the new weight distribution of the brushless system coming in, and adjust after that.

pontoons are held on with fuel hose slid over the tube

Thanks. may ad some fuel hose to the buseness end of it if i find that it scratches the hull when i bush a flipped boat into shore. the factory paint on the revolt doesn't seem to be the most durable.

This may actually be a situation where I'd suggest plasti dip. ..it'd keep it from scratching your other hull

hmmm, wonder how well it'd adhere to brass. i'd probably use the real plastidip for this, not the spray stuff. only downside is that it takes some effort if i ever want to alter it.

It pretty much just sticks to itself. If you get the liquid form of the dip you could pour it out into a flat container and dip the entire front of the push bar. Just make sure you dip all the way around the bar and you'll be good to go.

The instructions are pretty specific on how quickly you submerge the object, so pay attention to your speed.

Yeah, I've used the original stuff before. It's the spray that I stay away from. I think weight would be my only concern. The advantage of more silicone hose is that I can just use small sections, keeping it Extremely light. Hopefully it just won't scratch to begin with. Fingers crossed.

Because they break? I'm real good with fiberglass and carbon fiber work. I'll reinforce one for you when I get to md If you want. I may reinforce the hull on mine. Getting more flex than I'd like.

Just the canopy. If you haven't take the battery tray out and mount the battery's on the bottom of the hull. Helps a ton with handling.

I was actually looking at some slick little aluminum plates that would do just that. Plus they have water hose ports to help cool the batteries. Running on 4s, the motor and esc barely get above ambient air temp. It's the two 30c batteries that heat up. May have to get some higher discharge lipos....
