Hopefully. Or people will use the day off to go up there. Lets hope not.

 

So is this thing still on for next weekend? If so, I'll be coming, and my dad will be with me (I'm only 17, he said no to letting me tear my truck up alone.) And my brother will be coming, he may or may not be riding with me though. If he doesn't, he'd be in a 2wd 4runner, but even I'm not down for going balls to the walls. Me and my dad will be in my rig, 4wd w/ rear locker. We don't live very far away, so we'll be meeting the group Saturday morning at the Outpost, no camping for us.

 

Yes this coming weekend. Dates haven't changed

Bringing the GF, dog and probably a cat. Made a last minute decision to visit family in FL while we're already a third of the way there in NC, so that'll be an interesting weekend. The dog does pretty good on the trails. The cat, well I guess we'll find out...

The first ledge on Daniel is still fun but the next few bends are pretty smoothed out compared to what they used to look like.

 

thats cool, i hated that first switch back right after the ledge.

 

Yeah they really worked on that section. The rock garden going up the summit of Daniel is still fun too. Andy went right and struggled but made it up.

 

Well my wife is out so I'll be running solo.

 

That thing will get eaten within 24 hours lol

 

sandman614 and myself will be heading down friday from raleigh. Are you guys gonna meet up at a certain time at the campground friday or the outpost?

 

Might be there, might not. We'll see.

 

the outpost we will meet up on sat at 9-930

fri will just be at the camp site whenever u get there. i wont be there till around 530pm

Alright then We will probably be there around 4-5ish at the campground. Maybe a little earlier

 

Anyone gonna be around Sunday? I'm at the beach fri-sat, be willing to drive out Sunday morning if there's a pack for me to follow on the trails

 

Anybody that's driving in Friday going to have a CB on them? I know it'd be a big help just to check in upon arrival for new guys like me to make sure we're in the right place.
