    The sausage has a good flavor and is spicy. The breading isn't too thick or doughy. Oh, and they're only $1 a piece!

    Getting the itch to go kayaking this weekend with the beautiful weather forcasted. Anyone know of some good creeks/rivers within an hour of the energy corridor to go, short of heading out to Galveston Bay?

    You can paddle buffalo bayou. I've done it a couple of times. The put in point for the Buffalo Bayou Regatta is at 7700 San Felipe. It's actually kind of scenic. :)

    any idea if it'd be decent to drop in out this way? i only live 1/4 mile from it, but other than the section that paralelles ant hills, i don't know what it looks like.

    The Bayou is actually really nice along the anthills. You'll have to do a little scouting to find a spot to put in though. If you're adventurous and want to paddle all the way downtown I'll pick you up and take you back to your place if you want.

    Depending on how much rain we get today there should be a decent flow in the Bayou. Just don't go down it at flood stage. You might find a bridge.
