That's funny, everyone scared me away from buying the 50" because "it sticks out to far, looks goofy" and so on. Maybe it's just this truck but it looks sweet!

I'm in the process of making a few more with different designs.
That looks awesome! Those make the 50" look perfect. Makes me want to upgrade!
The dimple-die design set is for sale now, currently mounted on my truck. :D

SOLD the Dimple Die Design 40" mounts that I was running on my truck, that means it's time to make some more!

I've got one "Star" design set in the works right now for Tacomagirl64, and a few others that need bent and finished up.

What designs do you guys like for the next few sets?

That's a good idea, too. I've used the toyota logo design for a few tiregates I built. I might have to get some of them on my next order!

All PM's replied. I still need to make some measurements for some requesting 50"+ mounts.

Here are some updated pictures from some Tacomas with our "dimple die" mounts from Instagram. I have more materials on the way, and hope to make a few more sets soon.

Are those mounts 3/16 or 1/4''? What made you go for that thickness? Also, do the mounts not interfere with how well the door closes/ weather seal on the door?

The main portion of the mounts are 3/16". The door closes as normal, and the mounts go behind the weather stripping, which also attaches to the factory location as normal. I haven't had any wind/water leaking issues or had any reported.

Finished up a few sets recently for some more TW members and IG people.

The "star" and "dimple die" mounts are both already sold, but one set of the "toyota logo" mounts are available!.

The toyota logos are badass!!! Too bad I'm not keeping the Tacoma... Make any for an 82 pickup? :D

Edit: and I get a discount for the idea right???

Haha! It was definitely your idea! I wish I had different trucks to build off of, but just sticking to first-gens for now. :D
