Yeah, I used to have the foam feet for the gunnels, but they're long gone. Can't go out and spend $20 when I have the excuse to build a roof rack. :D

    :D

could fab up a simple headache rack pretty quickly if you aren't against the kayak at an angle. otherwise it's a bed or roof rack. not a fan of sticking something that long out off the tailgate with a hitch support.

lol, they just stick the GP on with bubblegum? i always have mine tied orr to something else or have a float on it when it's over water.

    your style....i like it.

1: you will need a new high clearance to match the width of the new bedsides or else it will look dumb.

2: while cutting the fiberglass to fit a high clearance is easy, you will need to re-epoxy the cut area to keep it from delaminating and deteriorating. now extra glass is needed for that part, but you don't just want to leave a bare cut out in the open.

 I wanna see this. Also to go along with Colin's post, couldn't you just weld some more metal to the sides of the rear bumper to match the lines?

with the effort to do that, you might as well jsut cut the wings off and rebuild from scratch. the rear section is good to go. jsut he wings that need altering.

lol, I had the GP on a handlebar mount attached to a scotty pole mount. The branch caught between the handlebar mount and the GP, brought my kayak to a complete stop, then the handlebar mount just popped off launching the camera into the water. I jumped right in and spent about 5 minutes using my feet to feel around until i found it. The next day i purchased a backdoor float for the GP.

After looking at the pictures, the one place I would have problems with is the fender well. And having that line up with the hc
