Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i never removed the battery tray for mine.

just make sure to put them back in the opposite direction for easier removal later if needed.

Thanks Scott! I will be sure to check out Michaels Toyota. Did you end up going there to get your lift done? If you did, are you happy with the work they have done?

Well, after a few more hours of monkeying with the lift.... It's done! I chopped my front mud flaps 6 inches too. 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx's going on tomorrow. I gained just under 3" in the front and a tiny bit over 3" in the rear. I'll post up my before and after measurements tomorrow. I didn't install the extended brake lines, but I do have them. I'll probably install them at a later date, I didn't put them in due to not having a flare wrench or clear tubing to bleed the brakes.

Haha, I am relieved I got it done before having to bum a ride to work tomorrow! Thanks! I can't wait to get my new tires on and an alignment. I'm glad my buddies came by and helped me, they were paid with Burger King and beer.

Yeah you will love it when you get bigger tires. I had 265/70/17 when mine was stock and went to 285/70/17 and love them!
I bet you will want to go bigger in less than 10,000 miles ;)

I paid my buddy in the commodity of chic fila and beer so he got a decent deal lol

Well, I'm going with 265/75/16's, just a little bigger than stock. I went with 285/75/16's on my '09 Taco and it rubbed like a mofo, granted it only had a 3/2 leveling kit.

I don't have 17's though... I have considered aftermarket wheels, but right now I can't afford it.
