Still sitting in the garage for the most part. Planning a weekend fun ride two weekends from now. We have an inspection team arriving next weekend, so everybody's kind of busy until then. Summer is coming on strong. Should see open water on the lakes very soon. :)

Damn baby boomers...eating up all of the SS benefits...you're welcome by the way.

I'm sure you'll adjust in time.
How'd the visit with the realtor go?

I am not collecting SS for a few years yet. I have a pension from Dow, it's not a lot, but I won't really need much after the house sells. Us baby boomers have paid in a lot more than we'll take out. When you retire you'll be getting some of my money...you're welcome by the way.;)

The realtor visit went pretty well, Century 21 sent two realtors over and we have listed with them. We've got a few punch list items to take care of before we can show it, but we're looking for a fairly quick sale without giving the place away. Right now, without really thought it out completely, we are thinking of putting some of the furniture in storage to make the place more open, and boxing up some stuff and putting it my daughters garage. When the place is ready to show, we might just head out of town to Florida so it can be shown whenever without a mad dash to get it show ready. I've been down this road a few time before, this house we are in now is our 5th house. We kind of rode the real estate boom of the 80's and kept upgrading as the market skyrocket around here. Those days are long gone, this house is listed at around 20% more than we paid for it 14 years ago. We more than doubled our money in 1 year on one of our places at the peak, around 1985 or so. Going for a hike with my daughter today, hoping to go to Boston on Sunday and ride something called the "Midnight Marathon" in the middle of the night Sunday before the start of the Boston Marathon. The course is all set up and closed to traffic, and from what I hear, several hundred and sometimes close to a thousand nutjobs like me show up for the ride. They have full police support and permission, so I won't get arrested, I hope.
