lol for the trails that i like to run, 2wd locked gets me there and then some, when it gets too technical, i just take a bypass or just dont do it all.

Part of wheeling successfully is knowing what your trucks limits are, thats how you avoid breaking shit(unless you're me lol) and you end up leaving the trail with minimum scratches and stuff.

 

My truck gets molested by trees and brush all the time. I used to go around alot when I had my pre runner and only do the things I wasn't too sure about when I knew someone could get me out if I had to. Worrying like that finally got to me and I sold it

 

My thing is that I'm not really into that sort of wheeling where I'm hoping, "Shit someone needs to come with me", I've seen the sort of stuff where i will just fail and i make sure i never come in contact with that stuff. Besides, i like scenic places moreso than the wheeling and beating that leads to the destination, when my other rig is done, then i will go looking for those sort of things. My pre runner was never going to be my trail rig, its simply not 4x4, it'll be my tow rig for my trail rig.

 

Well the time to rebuild my truck has arrived

This is what needs to be done today:

Open 3 headlights to build a complete passenger headlight with good lens, housing and of course my projectors

Remove my POS old dented fender and replace with new color matched fender with flare attached

and drink a cold one when it's all said and done, first the store to get extra screws just in case i lost some from the initial crash

Crash Bandicoot is coming back bishes.

Thanks again for sending these donors to me, Im about 1/3 of the way done with the headlight swap, just gotta paint the reflector bowl, go remove my projectors and swap, i gotta find a place to align this side though at 1 in the afternoon... >_>

hehe, I'm only doing the passenger side.. lol I aint sending SQUAT, this is sooo annoying to do haha, i understand why people on here charge 700$+ to do it right, fuck that shit haha. As long as the alignment is good and the paint job is satisfactory I'm good

.. Im almost done. I've got the fender all but removed but one thing is standing in my way, that damn antenna bezel at the base of the fender, its fucking gay as shit...

Its like seized or something, I'm not sure how to remedy this, i need my truck back together by 8am tomorrow morning..

 

You talking about the chrome piece is seized? Tried any wd or PB? Behind the fender is a bolt I think too, and a disconnect in the A-pillar

 

Yeah tried WD, nothing. Then again it's raining like a mofo right now, i've got my projectors all but done, i just need to get them aligned which means i need to get my new fender on but i cant..

Idk what to do, i've gotta get this done very soon, I'm taking my lady friend into town tomorrow and i've gotta finish. Im just stuck.

Drill it out is only thing I can think of, take like a 1/2" drill bit to it, don't get too far in there though

Looks like they just got a drill and drilled through the bezel and mast to cut it in half, bunch of corrosion so I hope your isn't that bad
