i just cant get the jeep crowd. 90% of them want one as a daily street driver. They just arent. I sat in a 2014 last night up at the cruise in here in Bartlett and it looks the same and feels the same as they did 20 years ago. There just not much to them. In an age of increasing luxurious cars and technology, the jeep is a bare bones comfort and tech integrated vehicle. Short of a tube body and literally no interior, theres not much else to take away from the inside of them. Just trips me out. So comparative price range and vehicle usage, if its Jeep vs 4runner, i just dont see any possible way that you pick jeep for your everyday, drive to work, go to the grocery store, go out for a night on the town with friends, take a road trip, or take a nap in at lunch time, truck.

Brian I'd stay away from the ecoboost. I have read a lot of bad stuff about they. MPG is not what they say it is and lots of problems. Not saying don't get it but read up on it before you get one.

 

What about the Highlander if she thinks the 4Runner is too big?

yep. True story ........ a guy i work with bought a 2013 4 door wrangler last year and blew up 2 transmissions, 1st motor locked up from a pretty bad oil leak, 2nd motor blew a head gasket and had to get internals replaced, the dash wiring had to be replaced cause the speedo went ape shit and the headliner had to be replaced because it fell down while he was driving. All this happened under 5000 miles. Hes a jeep dude so he wanted to stick with them and they told him to just give the wrangler back and pick something else so he got a liberty. haha

 

I saw on on 385 in collierville where the front tires were shaking there ass off laterally.dude was doing about 50 or so. I looked at my mom who was in the truck with me and said: "jeep problems" and rolled my eyes

Well I am in Birmingham so nan nana boo boo.

She is looking at the Rav4 since is is small she doesn't want anything big. 24k starting. Looked at a Santa Fe but I don't like them. Jeeps are all out the question since my last one burst into flames on the interstate. I tried to get her to like a Camaro or some kinda of sports car but no dice. On a good note we are looking at a 4x4 or all wheel drive. She is more of style verse brand.

 

So, about those behind the seat storage trays or whatever...anyone still want to send me theirs?
