I ordered up an Access Roll Up but now am wondering if I should have gone with the Lorado. Has anyone compared them? Any thoughts specifically on either?

The lorado is lower profile than the access.

Everything you ever wanted to know about them...

I have the L/E and I can use the bed cleats that came with the truck. The Lorado is lower profile and you have to get the smaller ones.

Other than one being lower profile than the other, not much difference.

Thanks! I guess initially Id be curious to see the height difference. I wonder which I would prefer aesthetically (if there were much of a difference). It sure seems like the Lorado is popular over on TNation.

With the roll-up (the one I bought) you can still use the bed cleats. I would image that with the Lorado, you probably couldn't. IMO, you'll be happy with the roll-up. The edges are tapered, so the small amount that it sits above the bed rails isn't noticable. It looks clean and smooth.

The first page on the link I put in my other post shows a L/E and the Lorado next to each other.

I just ordered one from Truck Alterations the other day. Luke tells me the LE has a couple of features more than the Lorado. Single handle release and a bed seal included. The extra features on the LE pushed me over. The difference was only like $45.

Not handy. I'll try to get some pictures over the next couple days, but don't hold your breath, I'm forgetful. ;) Chances are there are already pictures up from other users, though.

Yeah I saw that. Its still hard to disseminate though. Is the LE pretty much the same as the Access Roll up?

Found this pic from another user, gives you an idea of how much the access roll up sticks above the rails.

The LE has a nicer locking mechanism and sits on top of the bed rails, instead of just inside them like the roll-up. The only benefit of that is you don't lose the 2" of bed width (1" on each side) that you do with the roll-up. The LE also comes with a seal for the tailgate.

Sifting through the Agri-Cover site found this pic. The rest are all taken at an elevated level and dont give good perception. I thought this one did...

I have the regular Access Roll Up on my truck and fucking love it! You can't really get a very good idea from this pic in my signature, but you get the idea.

The LE is an Access roll up.... it's the limited edition. comes with a couple of "extra's" that Gingrbredman mentioned

Its all about the tiedown cleats. If you think u can get away without them the Lorado looks just a bit better in my opinion. You can also buy the vanish which is the same thing as the Lorado but with cheaper bells and whistles (straps, no additional front seal and only 3year warranty). All of their covers are made with the same vinyl material and 3 profiles of side rails, its the warranty and the different hardware that make on better then the other.

Right...I guess what I meant was is the LE aesthetically the same with some improvements underneath. (Can I use LE pictures as a reference for the reg roll up).
