Thoset things seem so sweet I'm going to have to get one. I wonder how good it does at the miles to empty? I want one for the average mpg too I think it would help me get better gas mileage

It does. It's really pretty accurate. You put in your fuel tank size, your engine size, and then when you fill up the first time you tell it, and when you fill up the second time you calibrate the gallons you put in. It takes care of the rest based on load and rpm and everything. Also, you can calibrate the speedometer on the scangauge to be dead on via gps, and that will make all the estimates even more accurate. When I got home today it said my tank mpg so far was about 16.5 I believe. That's usually what I get, 16.5-17.5. I mainly got it to watch trans temp though. And I'm glad I did cause my truck seems to be running a little high on the trans temp

That seems easy enough to calibrate. My speedometer itself is a little off too so that would be nice to have. You get almost identical mileage to me so that's probably just about dead on. How hot do they normally run I know yours is what 215?

Ahhh I forgot hahah I'll see if I can find out why sam couldn't add me.
What did you clean off the water spots with? Haha where they spots that wouldn't come off?

On a separate note heavy rain plus traffic means a horrible ride up to the airport only to wait for a while hahah

Yeah, the water spots would not come off without special stuff. Used CRL sparkle and sealant stuff off of Amazon, its good stuff, my friends dad works at a glass place and they use it and a guy on TW recommended it. I'll see how it works with rain and new wipers

Alright I'll have to try it out. I've never had a problem with my truck by my parents cars get it pretty bad. I personally hate cleaning glass its so picky most of the time.

Cool, I'm sure there is other stuff out there also, but that worked well with some elbow grease

I never understood how I'm getting the same mpg as 4x4s haha. Some 4x4s seem to do better then me. And from what I've been told on here normal is about 185, but yes after a lot of city driving it does get up to about 215

Different gears and driving styles probably. What are your rpm at 75? For the 185 isn't that our engine temp not tranny?
Yeah I'd rather go with what I know that will work.
