You could always move to Alaska... they don't have those bugs... just king size mosquitos and millions of gnats...

 

I was camping in South Llano, TX one night and these things were flying around.. I was drunk, and thought something pinched me.. shined the light on it (I smacked it on the ground) and it was the dobson fly.. I made me a little more aware of the weird bugs flying around my head at night (Where's that Damn OFF..)

 

Howdy all, just logged to see this arachnid shtuff, im in Arizona. in my house i get scorpions by the poop load. im currently looking for pics ive taken of Black widows who have scorpions on their web as display for other critters to see. at least it seems that way cause they are perfectly verticle and in one piece tail upwards... kinda a cool really

 

I'm glad I haven't seen on of those things in person!

Dude, that's why i hate spiders! I would have done the same thing, but it would have been someone else doing it and i would have been a very far distance away watching with binoculars. SCREW SPIDERS!!!!

huge ass palmetto bugs!! they fly...sneak up on ya!!! and i have seen them about 3 inches around!!

I for one was kept on the edge of my seat during this entire story. Here is how I would have handled it. Pick up the phone and call Chris, "Chris, Gary, bring your flame thrower and an extra tank." Next call, "Southwest Airlines, need a flight somewhere, anywhere and get me a flight while I'm waiting!"
Last call, home owners insurance, "there is a good chance my house has been burned down, if so please send me a check."

 

i had these in my house, its called a house centipede. didnt really bother me too much because they eat other insects. i didnt do anything to get rid of them but havent seen one for a while now. the bodies get to about an inch to an inch and a quarter long.

 

Not to much around me. I just have black widows and then things like rattlesnakes in my backyard. Now those scare me.

 

instead of gas i would use diesel not as fast burning as gasoline. i use diesel to kill lots of things from yellow jackets to spiders anything i can get a flaming coffee can of diesel to
