Sounds like it is at least a similar design to the 1st gen spindle.

Lookin sweet! Are you using the spacers that you can get from wheelers with those bumps, or the ones tc gives you? I need to get some of those ASAP! Haha

Looks sick Gabe. I'm using the same bump setup and it works nicely for me until I get a secondary.

Looks like you got the lowers in finally. Was it really that bad?

Got one sitting in my living room ;)

    Looks beefy!

    :violent:

Doesn't look like it could handle those whoops even with a uni conversion

    Nice!

I have been hoping someone would make uniball lower adapter for stock spindle for a while now. Solo 2wd or 4wd spindle with lower uni is crazy $

Can someone explain the necessity of having a "Fuel cell/Safe"? other than the fact that it is required for racing.

I want to be proactive in my safety and my passengers safety while offroading but how much safer is it?

If puncture is the main issue, you can essentially just wrap your fuel tank in an aluminum box.

Ground clearance? My links get in the way of the stock tank, that's why I had to ditch it.

Looks great man. I'm picking up all my parts up this weekend minus the bypasses which are still being built.

I understand it to be puncture but also containment in a roll over. If your truck is upside down for a while a stock fuel tank is going to leak everywhere while a fuel cell won't. Your stock fuel tank just has those straps to hold it to your frame. Once you build a mount for your fuel cell it isn't going anywhere.

However there are so many pending CARB changes that I've heard about that may make having one on a street truck difficult.

does anyone know for sure if the motor mounts coming off the frame for a 2.7 6lug is in the same spot as a 4.0?

It's crazy how prone the lower ball joints are too breaking.
One of these days I will have the money for a uniball lower.
