I've always wanted to learn how to weld, just never had the chance. :(

Hey Clay, how are those LED headlights working for you? I have a feeling I'm going to need some new bulbs soon and have been entertaining them if they are pretty decent.

yeah, im just trying to find a place that can do it right now.. its like Maryland is a deadzone for all things automotive.... id even settle for just a place to cut the plates, find a welder on my own... i just dont think an angle grinder is gonna like 1/4 aluminum very much.. nor is it going to be the greatest cuts :(

alright cool.. do they get hot at all/do they have a good cutoff? I've heard some of the aftermarket LED bulbs don't really have a definite cutoff and just sort of scatter light everywhere.

Kind of a feeler post here and I have no idea if anyone plays, but I'm thinking about selling one of my guitars. It's a black PRS SE Singlecut that I bought new in January 2008. Asking $525 Obo with hardshell case and a 20 watt Marshall amp. I'm out of town right now but if anyone is interested shoot me a pm and I can send pics on Monday or we could meet up or something.

I've posted this in the NoVa an Richmond/Charlottesville/Lynchburg threads too.

Its a winch mount based on the stock crash bar, reinforced to support 8-9k winched while concealing it behind the stock bumper fascia.. i want it so i can have a winch without all the weight.. and i dont want to shell out $500 for one, as if im gonna pay that much i might as well get a full bumper... i found a place to get a 1' x 2' sheet of 1/4 6061 shipped to my door for $70, i just need a way to cut and weld the pieces together

Edit: this was bensonx's mount, i pmed him about it and have his graces to reproduce it, im just trying to find a place to do it.

Someday when i have my own house with garage(s), i would love to do a wash day :D

But sadly it'd be too much for me to do house calls again. I have done them before though. I did a guy's lifted show truck.
