I finally got my black box logistics 30" S series mounted in my front bumper with rigid brackets. The brackets were great and easy to install. The holes where the light bar mounts in the brackets needed widened some but that was no big deal. Quality of the black box looks fantastic. Very well built. It's not rigid quality though. And for almost 1/3 of the price I can't expect it to be. But te light output is INCREDIBLE. it's a single row of 10watt LEDs with the 4 on each end as flood and the rest spot. Absolutely thrilled with this set up. I did not get the optional harness but it still came with about 3 feet of extremely well protected wire with a really nice waterproof plug in the middle of the 3 feet. Also came with black out plastic pieces that still work with it in the bumper incase cops give me and crap.

I PM'd them on jkforums.com and he have me 10% off and free shipping. Great company to work with. Nice to have some customer support to answer questions too.

I'll get some night pics tonight maybe. It's unbelievable. $288 shipped for this light bar seems like an excellent value

Nice. Looks like that thing fits perfectly in there. Interested to see those night shots. I got a bunch of the 10 watt bars and am curious to see how yours lights up compared to my china ones.

Tried to get a picture that was close to showing how bright this bar is but failed. This pic shows it a little but in real life it's about 500x brighter. Also trying to find a straight... Flat road in WV is impossible. Where you can see the road with the light bar it takes a hard left. The light actually goes past that.

Got a roll of the waterproof LED lights in the mail. Hoodlights, and the start of rock lights.

Decided to add a little more flavor to my 42" on roof. Got bored and had these strips laying around and decided to see what it would look like for running lights. A little short but I could always get a longer strip later. Not sure if I like them or not.. Whatdya think?

Looks like accent lighting for an outside bar.

I did so a that I liked a while back, but I couldn't fit covers on the bar with them so I had to take them off :(

They went in a u shape like this [ --------------- ] . 4" on the top, about 2" down the side, then 4" on the bottom. Roughly a 9" strip on each side. Looked a hell of a lot cooler in person!

Hmmm. That sounds pretty cool actually. Maybe I'll do that and cut these down. Cuz yeah I'm not sure I like it how it is. But yer right about these lights looking a lot better in person. Any lights for that matter including led bars. Hard as shit to get good shots.

(Being as this thread isn't seeing much action lately) Here's a better shot that shows off the glow a little better... I like this idea, but Idk, it just seems like I'm hitting the 'too many lights' point. Lol.

I really liked the amber strips when they were just an accent, but I was always afraid I would get pulled over. My neighbor said they were clearance lights, but I still wasn't sure.

Guess it depends on your state. Here in az I don't think they give a shit anymore about much as long as it's not red or green or crazy ass colors. I would nvever use anything but white or amber myself anyways. And I would think you could get away with calling them clearance lights being amber. Why not? Tractor trailers are lit up like a Christmas tree at night.. some are rediculous. Why not our trucks that are modified with larger clearances than stock.

Trudat! I never had a problem running them for almost a year. I still want to put them back on, but I'm going to try and keep the roof and mirror LED's covered..
