    There is no cutting on a 2wd at all and there is no need to cut the whole crossmember on a 4wd for the zone kit. I have installed a zone on a 4wd and only had to cut the 7 1/4 piece out. The instructions even tell you on both kits to only cut 7 1/4 out of the crossmember. Reason being is that you bolt the new crossmember to the old one and install the rivetnuts provided.


    39. Reinstall the rear cross member with the cams on the bolts. Run hardware from



    front to rear. Attach the rear cross member to the factory cross member with


    ½" x 1-1/4" bolts with a washer under the head of the bolt into the rivet nuts

    Part quality I think. ..ride is the same if you run stock coils and shocks...the bds fox setup is sweet though

    Yes, Long travel is MUCH more then a DB kit. But if you consider the upgrades to make a DB kit compete with a STACKED mid travel set up you've exceeded the cost of a very badass MT set up. I have no issues with my DB kit, other then I want to go to something for better performance, and compatibility with readily available armor.

    Thats backwards IMO, especially the lockers. if your doing mainly street driving. (your intention for a DB kit) So why lockers before coil overs that will improve the handling and ride every time you drive?

    Problem with selling these kits is the amounts of brackets and hardware required...if you had everything and verified against the parts list on the instructions it'd be worth more or sell quicker. Most people avoid used DB kits for this reason...at least I know I would.

    If it's a stage 1, it's still very usable to somebody....just replace the shocks. I'd start around $600 to $700.
