Im looking to paint my grille and Toyota Emblem after I get it satoshi'd and was wondering if anyone has had some good experiences with particular paints in terms of getting it to match factory paint?

Ive seen the writeup on painting your grille and tried to track down the paint but the ebay seller isnt selling it anymore. Any ideas?

www.paintscratch.com is what I've used in the past. Great supplier. They'll sell you matched paints in aerosol cans, which is perfect for what you need.

Edit, the one eordonez posted has better prices.

dont know if its too late but if you go to NAPA they will mix a can for you for 16 bucks i think. good price and it only takes like 10 min to mix.

Not too late at all, I'm probably going to order on Monday or Tuesday so I still hav tIme to look around. What's NAPA though? And is this mix a close match to factory paint? Suitable for painting a grille and emblem?

Not sure where your located but NAPA is kinda like autozone or somethin like that but much better, here where i live they have a paint and body store where i got them to mix the paint for me because im doing the same thing as you but just havent gotten around to it, and for my truck the paint matched perfectly just needs primer then a few coats but it looks good.

http://www.napalocator.com/StoreLocator.aspx?st=STORE here is the web site to their store locator maybe you can find one near you and call and ask if there is a paint and body store near you, but it there if it is of use for you, hope everything works out

the paint from NAPA only comes in non-aeresol form. Anybody have any idea as to how I could apply this while avoiding inconsistencies in the paint? Im guessing that brushing it on would show the marks
