Oh it sounds phenomenal! I have it hooked up to a HD750/1 JL Amp. I haven't pushed it that hard because I need to break it in, but it sounds awesome so far.

Picked up some similar aluminum channel at Cardo in Sac yesterday. Super nice guy. Took one look at the pieces and said that I'd only be able to get them from the manufacturer because they're specially made. So I went out and tried to look up any gemtop person on my phone but couldn't find anyone local so I ended up calling someone in Oregon who transferred me to someone in Texas who said that they'd call me back...well the whole 8 foot length of "similar but not quite the same" channel was only $14 so I went ahead and bought it. He was nice enough to cut the piece in half so it fit in the bed of my truck and he took off tax for me, too, so it was $14 even. Really great experience, I highly recommend them!

Sooo now I need to cut and bend four pieces of aluminum channeling...anyone wanna help for beer or moneys? I think bending it involves cutting a slot, bending it to the right degree, then welding it back in place.

Hey I just picked up a WWII Japanese rifle from my late grandfather, and I am interested in restoring it. Does anyone know of some good shops that specialize in such a thing?

Don't those types of things hold more value unrestored?

Well sorry let me rephrase. I don't want to restore it to use it for actual shooting. My goal is to place it in a case on the wall, but I don't know where to go for cleaning supplies and restoration items to make it look better. ary4u3er_593d6fc1f69c27a101b91b532c790678daa3f159.jpg

I'm just gonna paint the side rails and leave the cross bars bare since I'll probably be sliding the RTT on and off.

Haha yea I couldn't pass up the group buy pricing. They were supposed to ship yesterday but they were closed. Hopefully they ship Monday and I should have them by Friday. I would come out to the meet but I work early on Friday.
