Yea...295 absolutely buried me the other day :(. Got it off my chest about 2 inches. After that, I was done. I want to try a bench press shirt now...

Exactly, what difference is a shirt going to make? The shirt doesn't automatically add strength and muscles for you to be able to push more weight.

Bilstein/OME Lift, 5th Gen Wheels, BFGs, fun stuff... Had a 3rd Gen, twin turbo'ed it (traded in on a F150 Gen 2 3.5 Ecoboost)
It forces your shoulders forward and doesn't let the back of your arms stay parallel or beyond. Until about half way down (and half way back up) its all muscle, beyond that point, the weight is actually forcing the shirt to stretch.

Lifted in one once... had busted blood vessels all over the place and it took 30 minutes to get it on and off. This guy helped - Mike Belk. I think it took 450 for the shirt to stretch enough to touch my chest that day, which I (at the time) could do raw. Now I don't go any higher than 365 for a set of 8.

So you're telling me if I wear a special shirt....that it helps me lift weights...no thanks. I'll stick to regular strength training :)

The shirts don't make you stronger...but they do assist and allow the users to push more weight. They should just be banned from any form of competition. All it does is give someone a reason to discredit your lift and the stronger lifter is still going to win (most likely).

    My original quote:

"...benched 335 with it...now, if I could only do it without the shirt lol"

I'm completely aware that the shirt helped...a lot. I never said it didn't, nor did I say it helped or benefitted my training. I simply said the guy brought in a bench shirt and I used it. Y'all some angry ass niqqas

Not an angry ass niqqa just don't wanna use a shirt when I can build muscle and feel the satisfaction of using nothing but man force to lift heavy objects!

I do that, as well. Hell, I even consider gloves and wrist straps cheating. I just wanted to see how much the shirt helped...I'd say it's about similar to benching in the smith machine. It's cheating, but it does wonders for the ego ;)
