    Morning boys and girls.

Went for a 38 mile bike ride today that included a ride across a farm field, single track dirt riding, a flip over the handle bars with the bonus gash in my shin, biscuits and gravy at a bar names "Mullets", some urban assault riding, a trip through the ghetto and then back up the dirt trail and back through the farm field.

it's a little sore. I'll probably really feel it tomorrow. The worst part is, i have ridden that trail probably 50-100 times and never had an issue at this spot. It is right next to a stream and there was a little bit of erosion that took away a small section of the trail. I just wasn't paying attention and looked up just in time to watch my front tire drop in it sending me over the handle bars. oops

True ... A minor degree of "suck" compared to what could have been. ;)

    Glad you're OK. :)

It might have been a good idea to be packing heat today. The good thing is that we don't really have any ghettos in Iowa that i'm afraid to drive through. There might be some i wouldn't want to walk through after dark, but nothing too scary like some of the bigger cities.
