Front 5100 with Revtek 3" spacer lift?

Anyone out there running the 5100 set at stock height while also running the revtek 3" spacer lift?
any thoughts or ideas?

Running the Revtek spacer w/ 5100s would be absolutely no different then running the 5100s at 2.5 w/ a 10mm top plate spacer.

 

I heard its not good if you run a spacer with the bilsteins set at the highest notch...

 

I would just ditch the spacer and set the Billy's at 2.5''. You'll get a MUCH better ride out of it.

 

Been running the revtek spacer with 5100's on second notch for some time now... works great, no issues

It is definitely possible to run this setup, although I would highly advice against it. The shocks are for one, not valved for such a high spring rate which will occur when having such a high preload on the spring, and two, you will experience what most all people would consider a very harsh ride.

On top of these issues you will also need upper control arms at this point. With the setup mentioned, you will be at around 3 inches of lift which will cause the caster to be way out of spec.

Forgot to mention I do have AllPro UCAs as well. They are definitely needed for correct alignment. You will have all kinds of vibration issues without them. I also removed the front sway bar and that also helped with the ride but it is still a very firm ride. It is a 4x4 truck after all, its not gonna ride like a sedan no matter what you do.
