April 18-20 Uwharrie Run

I have a couple with you in it. I'll try and post some pictures tonight or tomorrow

 

Andy didn't make it up the first ledge?

 

There was a bunch of people there today cleaning up. I heard they moved it so I don't know if they where there for something else or just decided to do an additional clean up day

I winched up the ledge on Daniel. Nobody made it up without a pull. It was pretty fun.

Oh yeah man, not a problem, I enjoyed it!! I had no clue what we were getting into when we hit that last trail! That was a rough spot!

What a job it was getting to the top of Daniel. I winched up the ledge, then pulled Barry up. I tried to pull Ryan but he was too heavy so I had to hook my winch up again to pull him. Pulled Barry again near the top of the hill. It was slick as shit.

 

I took a lot of pics and videos. I didn't get everyone in the videos tho. I will have dragon post them up on here soon. I had a great time. Looking forward to the next run.

 

This was where I got stuck and had to be pulled down the hill by a jeep! This was really slick!

This is the one section I tried to warn you about

 

Really? This was on an easy trail! 89 I think?

 

Yea I said you should be able to do that trail, but that berm there gives people trouble when it is wet. I have seen a couple jeeps off in the woods right there

 

Not yet. Waiting for Chris to get done with Easter service then hopefully he will send the video over. Once I get it I'll post it up.

 

I've had trouble at that spot before. The trick is ride the wall as much as you can and don't waste any time getting over it

 

Oh I thought you were talking about another berm on the other trail!

I basically uncontrollably slid all the way down the hill to the berm then tried to drive over it and all it wanted to do was slide toward the woods!

 

Barry pretty much did that on the back side of daniel at the very end. just slide down the trail.
