FlowMaster...

I have an 09 Toyota Tacoma. Want to put a FlowMaster on. I have the hood scoop with the cold air intake. What do I have to do/order? Thanks!

 

depending on sound...order either a 40 or 50 series/2.5inch offset in center out muffler, and either install yourself, or get a shop to cut the stock muffler out/weld in the new one.

What exactly do you mean by...'Flowmaster' ??

You can get a muffler only and put it in with your stock pipes.

You can get a cat back muffler kit with single exit.

You can get a cat back muffler kit with doul exit.

You can get different types of mufflers - 40 series, 50 series....

Do you want something that's loud?
Do you want something that not so loud?

What are you looking for in an exhaust?

I have Flowmaster kit #17432 (50 series catback with dual exits)

 

where do you find the single out flowmaster 50? all i c is duals.
and is the duals easy to install?

Click on PRODUCTS and then MUFFLERS.

You'll see all sorts of different mufflers including 50, 70, 60, 40's, etc.

 

I went with the FM Super44 lol...its sounds angry as hell

 

well as for choosing which series you want, it depends on your motor size, ie... if you have a 4 banger or 6. now i have the 2.7 and have the 40 series with no tail pipe and just put a down pipe on the end and have it dump before the axle. at first it sounded like a civic but now that it's broke in it doesn't sound have as bad. as for the dual you can go for it, it's a little bit more work but can be done (have to go around the spare tire and everything else) but if you are going to have a shop weld it on (i would suggest welding it) then they should be able to do, it will just more.

 

i have an 08 v6 DC i want a flowmaster but i want that deep sound ... what series should i go with with just stock pipes and weld the new muffler??

 

super 40 or super44...I went with the super44 and its gotta nice deep growl
