Okay, so i have been looking around on here.

I have been looking for options for my taco and havnt realy been able to find real answers...everyone is all about the 6cyl.

I want an exhuast, intake, maybe a chip, big brakes, full bull bar ( with foggies and headlight grill covers), i want the poweroutlet for the bed.

Can you guys point me in the direction of where i can look for all this stuff..companies websites etc...

I love my taco but it needs more...and alot more.

HELP!!! im sick of looking through 400+ threads and then finding out that everythings about a 6cyl:mad:

Doug Thorley has a good set of headers, here's a vid (I think it belongs to a user here) of the 2.7L with the DT headers and a Magnaflow. Sounds great to me.

EDIT: Actually, the user who posted the video is a member over on CustomTacos.com if you want to shoot him a PM regarding his setup.

    you need a prerunner.

Dont want to highjack the thread but i dont want to start a new one

Do you guys know if I got an access cab 2.7L with the standard p215/70r15 tires and I replaced them with the P245/75R16 (the standard prerunner tires) would it sit at the same height as a normal prerunner? or would I need a lift?

nowhere close....there's major suspension differences in the two. u'd need a pretty good lift to match heights

and he's talking about an 07 2.7L prerunner

I think you may be out of luck with the power outlet in the bed. I have only seen them on v6 trucks, and there are completely different wiring harnesses for the 2.7 and 4.0 trucks. So without running ALL the wires required for the power outlet yourself, I don't think it can be added in your truck. As for performance mods. Like has been said, any muffler shop could cut out the stock muffler and weld in the performance muffler of your choice, and as for intake. It is my opinion and that of several other members as well that the stock intake systems in the tacomas are not very restrictive, so pulling the secondary charcoal filter, and installing an AFE pro-dry-s filter (high flow non-oiled filter) seems to net the same gains as any of the "big name" not so cold air intakes.

    AFE part number 31-10123
This is the Pro-Dry S (non oiled) filter for the 2.7L
    UPC 80295931092
    Price $26.25

    http://www.afefilters.com/IntakeSytemstest.php
Enter your vehicle information in the dropdown boxes, (please note that they do not recognize the 2007 model Tacomas and that you will need to select your year as 2006). From there click on the filter you want, be sure that you select the correct part number for the type of filter (oiled or non-oiled), then click buy now. This site claims shipment within 3-5 days, but does charge $7.50 shipping.

    http://www.ultimatetruck.com/products/afe_pro_dry_s_oil_free_performance_oe_replacement. aspx

From here select truck and engine type, again remembering to use 2006 as your model year. This site offers free shipping, but says to allow 10-17 business days for shipping.

There is no such thing as a PreRunner 4x4 unless you did a 4x4 conversion.

fog lights, light bar, sport pedals, tire size swap(from 215/70/15 to 235/75/15to31/10.5/15). Crager 15x8 blackies 2.5 inch lift.Dynomax super turbo, AFE intake system.
Try going to Summitracing.com, you should be able to find intake systems, bull bars, exhaust and what not. I'm lookin into just replacing the muffler section with magnaflow or dynomax. They're not as loud as flowmaster.
