I hope you get it worked out. They really are good lights (at least in my truck).

OP, you got a no fuss return policy?

 

With the h4 on my 11 the low beam shoots up into the reflector. I love my lights and thew throw far.

 

I think it's if they go out at anytime during their lifetime.

You'll have to ask Henry about the "no fuss" return policy but I would imagine that if they are not to your satisfaction he would be more than willing to work with you and find a solution.

 

Same here with my 13! Low beam=top LED, high beam= both top and bottom LED's. Mine are not Lifetime(that I know of) but look exactly like them.
For the guys having problems with them I would make sure both LED's are on in each light when brights are on and top LED on when Lows are on. I've heard of LED lights like these malfunctioning and one of them doesn't come on.

I spent the entire night making adjustments.

My lights were initially aimed too high, that's why the high beams didn't do anything (they were hitting above the road surface).

Now they seem to be decent. Not a mind blowing intensity of light though. Definitely not a huge output difference over zXe's, but the beam pattern in front of the truck is much better, so I'll keep them.

Bottom line: if you already have decent aftermarket bulbs, these aren't going to be a mind blowing upgrade, but if you have stock bulbs, you'll be impressed once you get them dialed in.

 

I have my drivers attached to the plastic light housing with double sided tape, and I have really bad radio interference.

No biggie, I'll just drive with my lights off at night if there's a song I really like on the radio.

 

Try zip tying it to the wire harness and it should go away.

 

I'm still completely unimpressed with the high beams, and I did notice that the adapter is skewed (as shown in the FJ forum link).

When I get time, I'm going to epoxy the adapter in place, and hopefully that makes a difference.

 

What year model is your truck?

 

Snowflake is a 2013.

No none at all. That's what makes this kind of odd to me that your having so much trouble. Mine were literally plug and play. No adjustments and no RF interference. I hope you get it figured out because they really are good lights and they are so much better than the zXe bulbs (which are great btw) that I replaced. And since your truck is the same year model as mine makes it even more strange.

Mine are due to arrive on Thursday and now I'm getting a little nervous

 

If you look at the link to the FJ forum, you can see how flimsy the attachment of the adapter plate to the plastic tube is.

It's only attached from two points, and it hinges freely.

If I put pressure on my lights while they're mounted, they easily move.

 

That is really weird. I twisted my mounting plate off and mounted it with the spring on the back of the headlight then put the rubber boot back over it. Then quarter turned the lights in place and wired them up. No movement what so ever with the lights at all and I never even had to do any adjustment. Here's to hoping you get it figured out before returning them because if you do you will love them.

I certainly can understand the frustration though..

 

I just went out and looked at mine. They do not sit straight in the housing.

The good news is, a little epoxy should be an easy fix.

The full potential of these lights has yet to be seen by me, so I'm excited.
