    4500 Kms/ 2796 miles and already had to take it in to get a stone chip repaired in the windshield :mad:

    You've had it how long? That sucks!! Hope you don't get any more.

    Thankfully the chips in both the car and truck windshield have been out of the way and I just put "band-aids" aka speed tape over them and they've been doing ok for - car - 10 years and the truck - 4 or 5 years now.

    Feb 25 I think I got it. That's the 4th stone chip I've had to repair :mad: one on my wife's car like the second week she got it, a second one on her car about a year ago, one on the taco the first week of February and now the rav.

    The worst part is every chip I get seems to land directly above the windshield defrost vent so it's not even like I can ignore them

    So far, so good. Spent the last two days in Boston. I rode the marathon route on my bike at midnight Sunday night with about 1000 other nutjobs, then went into downtown Boston yesterday and watched the marathon. First time I've done it, it was impressive. There were 40,000 runners and over 1,000,000 spectators.

    I like the attitude of the city coming together and not letting fear take over. Only visited Boston once, but I loved the city and the people. :)

    EDIT: I'm not a fan of cities at all, but Boston has a different feel to me for some reason. Catching a game at Fenway is on my list of fondest memories. ;)
