yeah this was what i found. i was hoping for a large plate that covers both u bolts and welds to the axle outside of them, but im not sure they make that. that way theyd be protected, and i wouldn't chew through delrin pads

You would probably have to fab that up. Or modify one. I think these fit in between the ubolts.

Just make sure you build it so that you can still get the u-bolts off if you ever need to.

Some of my biggest fabrication regrets involve a "good" idea, 15 minutes, and a welder; and end up taking hours to deal with whatever I overlooked at a later time.

    Lots of expensive shit
You'd be surprised how many "high end" fab shops don't consider this

Something like this is probably what you are looking for
    [IMG]

Unfortunately I cannot help you in finding a set like these as they were already on the truck when I bought it.

Cool, I've never actually ever seen external footage of it running. In all the years I had it, I only saw about three 15 second clips of it moving and those were always just hitting a simple jump. This isn't anything that impressive but it's very representative of exactly how I used to run the truck. I rarely actually put it thru hard whoops and big aggressive stuff. The truck was actually overbuilt for a lot of the stuff I enjoyed running with it. It was nice piece of mind though to cover my butt for a mistake on the trail.
