    Ive seen 2 howling moons up here when buzzing around the back roads. Both on family vehicles with kids so I didn't bother trying to talk to them. There was a local guy with a land cruiser that had a tepui. Haven't seen him for at least 6 months though :(.

    I passed a 4runner on the interstate a while back - we were heading in opposite directions but we were both staring at each other as we passed by :laugh: Sort of a "hey, I know what that big, boxy thing on the roof is!". And I've seen a couple of the hard shell ones too in passing.

    Annex if you need a completely sealed room. Understand that this needs to be packed and takes quite a bit of room. Kinda a pain to put up but you get used to it.

    Awning if you just want a place to get out of the rain, keep some of the bugs away, and catch some shade. I haven't put one of these up but they seem simple enough.

    I think the awning works best for people that do not intend to camp in snow often nor do they plan on sleeping more than 3 people. Although I would probably sleep under an awning on a nice night.

    I have a Tepui Kukenam with an annex. I leave it on all the time and fold it up with the tent, it only takes 5 minutes to set-up and 7 minutes to fold up.

    Just curious as to why you went with CVT for an Annex and Tepui for an awning? Why not compare just CVT or just tepui? Seems odd is all :p.

    You can fold the tent up with the annex still attached? :anonymous: I've never tried that..
