Welcome to the 1st gen club. Hope you enjoy it. That's a very capable truck.

On a side note, I have a permanent scar from helping build that thing.

Nice first gen. How is the interior? I like the 4x4 parking brake.

Thanks bud, looking forward to it's first run.

Oh I believe it! Gonna try to take it to my cousin's farm to dick around this week or next. Does this mean we have a special bond? lol

Thanks! Interior has seen better days but it could be worse, I have a few pics uploading now. And my parking brake is a hunk of wood haha. It's on the to-do list.

I was back and forth on what I wanted to do with my build (gears, locker, and armor for the taco or a dedicated wheeler) and ended up going with the separate trail rig. For the same money I was going to dump into my tacoma, I have a pretty built solid axle rig. Now that it's daylight, I got some pictures of the new truck.

Hell yeah man sounds good! I'm getting the title notarized tomorrow morning after I get off work and I've got a few things to do before I'm ok with driving it down there. Brake lights don't work and I need to pull the carb and soak it in seafoam. Probably change the oil too for peace of mind. Uwharrie is only about 1 hour and 20 min from my house so it's not bad at all.

Ha I've looked at that a little, have to do some more reading on it. The gf would literally murder me if I spent anymore money right now.

Damn, you aren't wasting any time are you! At least my money is going to a good cause :D

    I'm in Winston Salem.

    I can imagine! I'm pumped.

Got tags for the 82 today. Need to find some time to fix a few things but I worked 8pm-8am last night, doing the same thing tonight, and I'm working this weekend. I'm tired just thinking about these next few days
