There is always the old faithful Glock 27, fits in your pants pocket :) I will try to find you the link of the best holster set up in a truck I've ever seen, done with a fobus type active retention holster. You a righty or lefty

so i'm still in the hunt for a tacoma. i decided against getting an access cab and so i started looking at dcsb. i figured i'll need more room for people more than i'll need the long bed. (don't want to get a DCLB).

    budget is still around 15-18ish

    found this guy https://www.hunt4usedtrucks.com/Veh...C-2006-Toyota-Tacoma-4WD-D-Cab-Short-Bed-Auto

i won't be ready to buy one til we close in on our house this tuesday (29th). i was thinking obout offering 18k out the door price on wednesday (30th).

looks like a clean truck. clean title. should i be scared of the 3 owners/high mileage? i figured this is the best its gonna get with my budget. opinions?

I have thought about buying my first pistol and getting my concealed carry. I've never really messed with pistols, but I've talked to a few guys that have them. I (think) am debating between a .380 or 9mm caliber for my first one. Any preference/advantages of one over the other or is it personal preference?

Same diameter bullet just a little less powerful of a round than the 9mm. Load you up some 124 grain hollow points and you'll be OK. Plus a lot of 380's are smaller framed, which is good for concealment but are a pain in the butt to shoot, comfortably anyway.

You can find lower mileage in your budget. Mine had 34,000 miles with one owner and the ARB for 19k. Keep looking.

He's got two out there now I think. One Barcelona red that's a '07 and a SSM that I see every once in a while. IIRC his wife drives it.

Are you serious? Am I looking in the wrong places? I check cars.com autotrader and Craigslist.

Anyways I don't mind going there if the deals are that good. I checked that site out and I only saw one Tacoma and it's sold.

Thanks man, he seemed like a real cool guy. Let me know when the next trip to Uwharrie is! Got some work to do to get it ready but shouldn't be bad.

It's mildly built already so going to leave it as it for a while, got other things that need to come first. But I plan on doing 63's in the rear and billies all around first. Then maybe 5.29's and an actual locker for the rear. I'd like to make half doors too if I can find some decent doors for cheap.
