You can probably find those used on here for cheap, or better yet a set of sway-a-aways, icons, fox, or kings for a similar price used. Plus those are rebuildable....

That is a possible next step. First I just want to get it to stock. Rebuildable?

Yeah, pull the bodies apart, revlave if needed for ride comfort/suspension response, change oil, seals, etc. etc.

Never knew you could do that.

Emailed Tundra Racing, should get a manual soon to help uninstall the kit. Getting stock parts from generous TW members and once I have everything I can hopefully perform the operation!

Nice, should be a simple swap for you, what parts did you end up getting?

I don't want to speak too soon, because I don't have anything yet. Expected parts if everything goes well are stock leaf springs, stock coils, u bolts and plates, and I'm seeing if I can get stock shocks and struts now. But most likely just leafs coils bolts and plates.

Ubolts and axle plates are all you need..... your truck though....

You don't think the shocks should be replaced @ 95K miles? If it was never tampered with, I might not opt to do so, but I feel that the ride is so rough I need to also replace the shocks. Secondly, I'm not buying a new set of shocks- if so I would like to just get a bilstein-eibach set- My goal is rather to replace mine with ones that aren't so old.

If I just switched my leafs over the axle, how would I raise the front? Is there something detrimental you're sensing I'm about to do?

    Update:

The lowering kit replaces the shock "sleeve and perch" in the installation. So wouldn't I have to either find a stock sleeve and perch or replace the front shocks after all?

I have no excuse for my thought process. I am wrong.

The ride quality is due to the springs being compressed inside the strut with that new perch. Does that perch just slip on or do you have to tamper with the strut to get it on? My thought is if you are gonna upgrade later, why waste the money in the mean time?

It will most likely be a long time, and I'm not really looking to spend money on them, I'm looking for handmedowns or something someone wants to get rid of for cheap. I'm going to send you the PDF so you can see what I mean about the front setup. I'm not sure I can answer your question.
