    I'm trying to keep the group small on this trip, no more than 6 or so :)

    This mine is the most dangerous one I know of; I don't get nervous underground very easy, but this one scares me. There's a lot of very sketchy/unstable areas, with many open winzes that are hundreds of feet deep.

    That being said, I hate to be a buzzkill, but anyone going on this trip has to be sober while underground. So no drinking before and during the explore. Afterwards we shall get shitfaced to celebrate our conquer of the 5 underground miles of epicness that is the Black Diamond Mine :D

    Also, Derrick and I were planning on being carpool vehicles for anyone going on this epic mine explore!

    If you've never been, you shouldn't go without at least a couple people that know what they're doing. All mines have hazards that you need to be able to recognize and avoid. If you go alone without any experience, it could potentially deadly. How old is your boy?

    I was planning on a trip to go with you guys. the boy's, err young man is 14. more ample than i physically at times, though he will never be as fast or strong as i am even if he can out run me or out lift me. lol.
