    Well not only because of that...lots of 4x4 Jeeps and trucks run them to keep the housing from tweaking under heavy tires and extreme torque (up against a rock with lockers on, and turning with the foot on the gas).

    It weighs probably 20lbs. Just some 3/16" steel.

    But yeah, they're actually pretty cheap. Going to check fitment on it tomorrow, and I'll report back. I don't think Toyota has changed the rear axle in their trucks for many years, so this should work. It was guaranteed to fit an FJ. The only hiccup I can foresee is the U-bolts getting in the way. Low Range OR says modifications will need to be made to the truss to fit leaf sprung applications.

    I just clipped mine and glued the top ball back on. I listen to Sirius, but the FM still acts as a clearance-tester when I drive under stuff.

    took out over load leaf spring, double chamber magna flow, Pink emblem, took off most Decals, 4inch fagtech, 4k HIDs, two 10 p1 rockford fostgate. Aftermarket head unit. 3.73 to a 4.10 gearing, Plasti dip the sides, customized headliner, added a flag mount and slapped on a dirtlawz decal
    What do y'all think of like a cleghorn run then after a mod day at a little brewery? There's tons of parking, and totally Secluded. You have to know about this place to find it. You can't just stumble upon it haha
