no thank you. I laugh at some of the things I see down in Jackson/ Grand Teton though. A lot of the tourists want to get all into the western experience so there are shops that carry really gaudy clothes and boots... and people buy them. Never fails that I'll see some dude walking through town in canary yellow cowboy boots or a brushpopper that a bedazzler exploded on...

But for some people that is roughing it...they'd never survive an hour of real camping. And probably think that people like us are crazy! They just don't know what they're missing out on...

Hahahaha yeah yeah if I'm backpacking I rarely even cook because a stove, fuel and stuff to cook in weighs more than I want to add to my pack. I like going as light as possible. But the ramen and jerky is awesome!

Yeah I will post up the recipe. Simply all around. Only difficult part is making sure to have a good can opener. Mine busted last time and ended having to use a knife.
Haha I have done weirder. And if im backpacking I really wont bring food either. Maybe some light power bars but for the most part I eat what I can catch or hunt.

The feds said no to it. The company is based here in Tempe Arizona. They are going to try again to get clearance to start selling it.

I always feel a little out of place in that town...but the restaurants are so good that I'll put up with the odd looks for a great meal.

Apparently back under review due to some "packaging discrepancy". Article I read guessing that's so they can take a better look at it so the government can get their hands all over it and regulate it to death.

There's a place called Coastanoa that offers fancy tent camping and dinner over on the coast. Better that than the giant resort that was gonna go there. There's a KOA so families can go too.

I guess if people take the time to glamp, that's better than parked on the sofa in front of a TV at a hotel somewhere :)

That's a strange mix of people for sure.
