it's life, i just need to buck up. The good news is that it's really nice out.

I need to find something to do for my Dad. He has been over working on my house again. Finishing up the custom closets and then he tilled my garden yesterday. Today he is bringing over compost to mix into the garden.

I'm not sure how she likes it yet. I know she is in for a rough stretch. They moved up there so her fiance could work for Shell, but since all this crap is going on with the gov and oil in AK, he is going to be working in Louisiana for a while untill the gov can get their head our of their ass. She will end up there by her self for 3 weeks at a time. Seems to be par for the course for her, unfortunately.

I feel bad for Amy some times. She such a nice person, but just seems to get shit on a lot. I can't tell if it is just truly bad luck, or just some bad decisions sometimes. This one was completely out of her control. Just sucks some times.

That stinks. I can kinda understand what she's going through, been there myself. I don't know how some people survive with the north slope work schedules. Its rough trying to adjust from being together to being apart...just as soon as you adjust to being alone then your spouse is home and you have to be a couple again, then you get used to that and its time to leave for work again and be on your own. Its maddening.

No game for me, too bad, the Yankees are in town. I took a couple of pictures at the bike ride Sunday, not very good ones, but I'm not a very good photographer.

I'm not a very good photographer either. Do the Yankee/RedSox games usually sell out?

Thanks for sharing the pics. Very cool event to be part of!

Yeah, they usually all sold out long before the season starts. Only way to get tickets is thru Stubhub or on e-bay for twice the face value.:(

We get a lot of windshield chips up here too. I've had three "patched" this Winter. Is that the right term? One had an inch long line across when it happened. Thought it would run before I could get it patched, but it didn't and so far it has held. Windshield issues here are why I keep my comprehensive deductable at $100; only costs us that to have one replaced.

    How's it going today, B?

Good good, was crawling around under the sketchy old cottage today. Found lots of bad dry rot in the flooring

    How's it going up there?
