Why does the snow determine weather or not you buy a awning? I camp in the snow a lot and I ordered the awning over the annex.

I don't have pillows in mine but I leave two thick sleeping bags an a big blanket in it. Mine zips up easy and the top isn't too tight. I takes time and really tuck the tent back into it nicely. I think I would be able to stuff an annex in it just fine.

Same, only happened while building the new bed rack :p. That old tent was so light compared to the tepui though. Putting it on and off was simple but I dread the day I have to move this pig by myself.

That basically all I did. I could toss the old one around super easy so after getting it on the tailgate I just slide it on the bead rack. Not sure what to rugged weighs but even with 2 people we could feel the weight. I could get it down and up but not looking forward to it at all.

I use the above method to put mine on the rack over the topper and it works pretty well.

with my luck i'd be in the middle of getting it from the tailgate to the rack and it would tumble backwards on top of me

Meh, if you can clean your body weight you will be fine. Its just awkward to grip is all. This is also assuming you weigh more than 150lbs :p.

Damn, then it might be hard . It literally takes 2 seconds so if you do need help just stop some person near by or ask a neighbor. Once it is on the rack you will be able to slide it around until you are happy with the location.
