People have a tendency to do that especially there at Potato Salad Hill. Mostly because you can drive a prius down to the bottom so it wouldn't be hard to pick up your junk when you destroyed it.

I still stand by 4xinnovations. Think I got them less than 2 weeks after I ordered.

I understand supporting companies that you actually know or needs help starting out. Sometimes I'm just too impatient though haha

I like BAMF work, just don't care for his slider design as much as others.

i did not see any big rocks being thrown very far by the jeep. the guy throwing a 5lbs (maybe bigger rock at a vehicle or anything is just fucking stupid! imo people should be back from the hill farther and now that someone is going to try and hit the gas and is going to throw rocks. it’s kinda just part of off roading.

I have been hit by rocks when 4 wheeling on atvs, and when when i have done some MX races. jeep guy probably knew his rig was fucked up, i mean the wheel is about to fall off..... so he was probably showing off some but no reason to throw such a big rock, could have bounced off the jeep and hit someone in the head and posable killed them(not very likely but posable.) good thing it was not a jk or other rig with no roof.

Yup, sliders are all basically the same. You can only change the design so much with a couple pieces of tubing haha

Price and shipping time were just too hard to pass up.

    probably...

I just know when i’m with someone wheeling(atvs utvs what ever) i try and stay back while they try and go up hills or get out of mud holes. if you don’t it’s almost 100% chance you going to get hit with something.

    This

I'm not too worried about how long it will take. (I say that now at least)

    I went with weld on.

I like his design, more unique looking (not that it really matters) and already has square main tube. plus it was only 20 bucks difference after adding the options when compared to 4x innovations. Went with DOM and kickout options.

Guess I'll check them out. Also looking at relentless and shrockworks. There's so many it's confusing.

I can't weld nor do I know someone who does, so it would be bolt on for me.

That's surprising. Still shows about $100 difference with the discount before shipping for me.

As long as you like them and they do their job that's all that matters though

Relentless will be a long wait as well.

Comes down to design preference and how much you're willing to spend.

4xinnovations is hands down the cheapest for 1st gens.
Craigslist is your friend. I guarantee you can find somebody to weld them on for you. I didn't have access to a welder so I drove 45 minutes to a guy that did and got them welded on for $60.
