Jesus. 35's with the extra weight over my 33's and 4:56 gears would kill my poor little 2.7.
    Subbed for pics.

Well I've decided to go ahead and tackle the whole 35's on 3''s when I ware out my 265s. So I've got 2 questions. Do I have to lose the the stock bumper? & Has anyone figured out some kind of fender flare that I could use after I trim the fenders? I'm not to worried about losing the front bumper, the Relentless fab bumper has been calling my name lately haha, but I would like to keep my fender flares or at least try to figure out a way to make a set of bushwhackers work for the double cabs

Check my build a few pages back from where it is currently. That will give you an idea of how much of the fender flares you have to cut. Also remember you have to cut the fenders also. The only real way to know how much to cut is to pull out the front coil setup and cycle the suspension.

I cut about 1.5 off the front fenders. And 1.0 off the rear fenders. On the front fenders you have to cut more out of the rear of the fender. On the rear fender I cut about an inch all the wah around and more of the front of the rear fender.

for the front flare I had to cut about an 1" off the face with more off the rear. For the rear flare I just cut the bottom lip off with more off the front. Check my build... be ready it's a lot of work but it's awesome at the end

Those flares look badass! and yeah I know it's gonna be a lot of work but I have all the tools to do the work and I've always had plans to run 35's on my taco but really didn't want to do the 6'' fabtec. I finally stopped being a cheap ass and gonna start modding my truck haha

Stay away from DB lift. A 3" Lift works fine with 35's. Once you get past the fear of cutting up your truck you will be on your way....
