I'm highly considering/looking forward to the Luka conversion.. lol.. a lot cheaper than selling, buying, and building again..:D

What's this that you speak of? Conversion?? I did too many Tuto to 5-spd conversions with 5.0 Mustangs in the "Hey Day". Yuck, my knuckles are cringing already. I realize not quite the same, but nevertheless, it's a bunch of work involved and the truck is my DD. Maybe because I'm old already...LOL.

I just finished converting my 2007 to 4wd.

Nothing wrong with the year, I think Miles is jelly that my transfercase sits higher under the truck than his does.

Now the lowest contact point on the truck is the rear diff :D

Have any of you guys installed an aFe intake? I'm looking at the aFe 54-81162 Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Sealed Cold Air Intake System. If you have, have you noticed any improvements? I'm considering it but I want to have a confidence booster before doing it.

pics??? what kind.. Just don't tell me DCLB 4x4.. If so, congrats and stop bragging.. lol..

    :threadjacked:

In other news, I asked 2 friends (1 who actually goes to the auto auctions, and the other whose in-laws go) to be on the lookout for a '07-up DCLB 4x4.. If a conversion may run me about 4, if I could get a 4x4 and swap out all of my parts for 4Gs above what I could sell mine for I would be happy.. we will see if it is in the stars...

As long as it's a 4wd, rear drive shaft length won't matter. Wouldn't cost much to lengthen it and balance.

I'm thinking just going 4x4 and swap my parts over rather than convert.. convert option is always a viable one.. talked to my wife about it tonight and surprisingly she didn't say no.. lol..

I sent Fuel a message today regarding this:

I'm kinda bummed being that the wheels are only about a year old. I hope they reply in my favor.

GRrreeeattt! < I say that with much sarcasm. So, Fuel responded this morning....YAY!! Not really. They say I have to work with the retailer that I purchased the wheels from = 4Wheel Parts Hawaii. I'm cringing at the BS they're going to give me.

    Damn...at least it's Friday and a 3-day weekend. Shakaz everyone...have a good Memorial Day Weekend! \m/

    stuff...

Good luck! I know some people probably think it's too much, but every time I rotate the tires, I wash and wax the wheels, front and back. I do it mostly because it makes cleaning easier, and because brake dust can ruin wheels depending on the finish. If you don't have any luck with 4wp, you can get someone to match the paint and spray it.
