Yeah, I'll be working the same shift as a friend of mine when it comes in. I'll just drag him with me to the shipping terminal when it comes in.

Gotta get the dang bed rack painted before that though.

I am definitely saving this and doing it this way when I finally get the yakima bars mounted. I'm not bringing the RTT to moab since its just me going this year. I can definitely just sleep in a cot haha

I put a moving blanket across the camper shell, slide the tent down onto the tailgate, then flip it off the gate onto a furniture dolly. Reverse to put it back on. Easy peasy.

RTT spent all winter outside on the truck. No leaks, smells, nada. The annex will probably become the midnight restroom and out of sight storage when camping. 3 sided annex but the cover creates a 4th side.

Which tepui is that. I have the blue ayer and just got the annex in the mail 2 weeks ago. The annex is the greenish tan color. I'm excited to use it on the beach this year.

make sure to record your first attempt

you know hte tents don't come assembled right? not gonna be a situation where you drag it out of the box and plop it on the truck - you have to install the mounting rails, etc.

Nope, I didn't know that. No big deal, I'll just take it to his house and have him help me throw it on the rack when it's put together.

Just didn't want you to have any surprises if you were expecting to install it in the UPS or Fedex parking lot

Was kinda wondering about that. How do I fix that? The manual said not to drill additional locking holes...I believe

no holes below the ones that are there now (making the ladder taller) but its OK to drill ones above the existing ones (to make it shorter). should be around 33* from vertical
