I like to do this kind of offroad mudding. It's natural camouflage and pisses off the people on the road when some gets on them.
It's a truck, they are supposed to be worked and get dirty, it's not barbie' s jeep we all drive. Lol

i gotta say no thanks to going out just to get muddy!!! not worth my time, if the truck gets muddy while wheeling so be it but to go out just to get it dirty is kinda lame in my eyes :)

Why? It doesn't break important parts and you get to play in the dirt. I don't enjoy going 1 mph and sound like my truck is breaking underneath me when trying go over trails as much as I do getting dirty.
I started the mods to my truck thinking it would be fun, but it's not that much anymore. So now the mods are for when I go camping or hunting I know I can get there and back and be fine.

I did Illinois Gulch this past Saturday. No snow...not a very technical trail except for Moab Hill. Climbed the far left side but don't think I could've done it stock as the hill was pretty rutted up.

Looking back through my pics, this was mid-May last year on Cumberland Gulch and similar situation not far up Bill Moore. Going to be awhile before we can get high.

This was mid-June on the way up to Chins Lake at 10,800 ft

I realize I'm a noob on this site but may I suggest 7 mile canyon? It's up Poudre Canyon near Rustic 40 mi W of Fort Collins. http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=92

Difficulty is more than it was a few years ago after the creek channel was the roadbed for a couple of years. It used to be on the low end of moderate but these days it's on the high end but no body damage likely. If I remember correctly it's between 2-3 hrs depending on how much dawdling you do. Kelly Flats is still closed & I don't know the status of Bald Mountain or Green Ridge.

    Would love too but....

Bob, you want to do my Intermediate Accounting II & Business Taxation Finals? :D They're take home and all multiple choice, should be pretty easy. Then I'll got to Moab with you.

Also, wouldn't Chinaman's be open? Would love to do one real trail sometime between the end of the semester May 2nd, and the other Moab trip.

Well I moved to Colorado to go rock crawling. If I wanted to go mudding I'd go south. At least with rock crawling you may break something like an axle or driveshaft, etc but if you screw up mudding you can destroy your engine, ecu, interior, etc.

That's actually the trail I wanted to hit up after Moab :spy:
